Supporter
We like to use the word Supporter for the carer. This person is the main Support point and an exceptional individual who selflessly dedicates themselves to helping others. Caring for, coaching, assisting and empowering, they ensure that the patient maintains as much independence as possible, whilst retaining their dignity.
Supported
We like to use the word Supported for the patient or loved one in need of care. This is the person at the heart of it all. They would like to live their life as much as possible, but have limitations due to illness, surgery, disease or any type of disability, be it permanent or temporary. The Supported requires the services of a carer to assist them in carrying out their daily activities.
The Client
The client is an equally special person committed to making their loved one’s life as comfortable and pleasant as possible. This is someone who’s taken the next step in ensuring they receive the best possible care. With VivaViv, the client has peace of mind that their loved one is being cared for, with the added security of absolute transparency through the app.
The Client could also be the owner or facilitator of a Care Home or Retirement Village, where the app can play a crucial role in managing and connecting all role players.
